St. Petersburg Searching for Subject That Shot a Woman off 4th Street South

Officers from the St. Petersburg Police Department responded to reports of gunshots in the area of 4th Street and 22nd Avenue South.  The call for service was at approximately 5:05 p.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2018.

Arriving officers made contact with a woman just east of 4th Street suffering a gunshot wound.

The woman was transported by ambulance to the trauma center at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.

Detectives are currently working to identify and locate the shooter.
