Two Found Dead in St. Petersburg Apartment Following an Apparent Murder Suicide
St. Petersburg Police detectives responded to 545 77 Av N, the Vibe apartments #105, to check on the welfare of a couple at approximately 11 p.m. on Friday, July 13, 2018.
Two people were found deceased inside the apartment. Police have identified them as 22 year-old Johnesia Simmons and 30 year-old Jeremiah Mells who were in a domestic relationship.
At this time it appears to be a murder/suicide, however this is an early assessment which must be confirmed with further investigation.
Next of kin has been notified. The child of the victim, Johnesia Simmons, was not at home when this occurred and is in the care of family members.
This is the second time that a murder suicide has been reported at the Vibe Apartments in as many months. On June 7, 2018, Justin Page and Ashley Chiello were found dead. More information on that incident can be found HERE

I just lost a friend in Nov in a murder suicide and guess what?! She was serving him divorce papers when he beat her to death and then hung himself.
