Detectives are investigating a murder that occurred at a home located at 152 3rd Street NW, Unit 3 in Largo.
Police and fire rescue crews were dispatched to the home at approximately 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 in reference to a deceased person.
Upon arriving at the location, officers discovered a deceased female in her 70’s who had been stabbed multiple times.
Detectives spoke with many of the neighbors and interviewed other individuals at the scene as forensic teams processed the crime scene.
Christopher Gilley, age 55 and who resides the same address, was arrested on charges of First Degree Murder and booked into the Pinellas County Jail.
Gilley and the victim were acquainted and there is no danger to the public.
