The Major Accident Investigation Team from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate a fatal crash that occurred at approximately 7:39 p.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2020.
The crash occurred at 13665 Gulf Boulevard in Madeira Beach and killed 27 year-old Brandon Allan Mason.
According to investigators, Pinellas County deputies were dispatched to a crash and discovered an overturned 2006 Ford F-250 pick-up truck with 27-year-old Brandon Mason ejected from the vehicle.
Mason was transported by ambulance to Palms of Pasadena hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Investigators say Mason was driving southbound on Gulf Boulevard when for unknown reasons he left the roadway and struck a palm tree in the center median.
Next of kin has been notified.
