Motorcyclist killed in crash on Gulf Boulevard in St. Pete Beach

Deputies from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office are currently investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist in St. Pete Beach. The crash occurred at approximately 10 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2021.

According to investigators, 57-year-old Kenan Rader was travelling northbound on Gulf Boulevard in a white Ford pick-up truck. 45-year-old Eric Babb was travelling southbound on Gulf Boulevard riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle.

Deputies say Rader was making a left turn into a parking lot when the two collided. Witnesses say the Babb was traveling at a high speed prior to the crash.

Babb was transported to Palms of Pasadena Hospital where he died.

The investigation continues.
