Fire crews from Tarpon springs, East Lake, Palm Harbor, and Dunedin responded
to a mobile home fire at Sun Valley Mobile Home Park. the address is 39248 US
19 N.
Upon arrival fire crews were met with one fully involved mobile home with a
second mobile home adjacent to the original structure also involved. Fire
crews began extinguishment immediately upon arrival to both mobile homes.
Due to the nature and size of the fires, a second alarm was initiated to
ensure enough resources to battle the fires.
The fires were brought under control within 30 minutes.
Both mobile homes were deemed uninhabitable at this time.
One patient was transported to Tampa General to be treated for burns.
A second patient was treated at the scene and released.

the cause of the fire is under investigation by the Tarpon springs Fire
Marshal
