Two Mobile Homes Destroyed in Tarpon Springs Fire, One Injured

Fire crews from Tarpon Springs, East Lake, Palm Harbor, and Dunedin responded to a mobile home fire at Sun Valley Mobile Home Park, located at 39248 US 19 N, where two homes were heavily damaged. The call for service was at approximately 7:13 p.m. on Sunday, April 19, 2026.

According to fire officials, crews arrived to find one mobile home fully involved in flames, with a second adjacent mobile home also on fire. Firefighters began suppression efforts immediately on both structures.

Due to the size and intensity of the fire, a second alarm was requested to bring in additional personnel and equipment.

The fire was brought under control within approximately 30 minutes. Both mobile homes were deemed uninhabitable.

One person was transported to Tampa General Hospital with burn injuries. A second individual was treated at the scene and later released.

The Red Cross has been notified to assist one displaced resident.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Tarpon Springs Fire Marshal.
