A multiple vehicle crash occurred at approximately 12:20 p.m. on Sunday, November 29, 2020 that will keep all westbound lanes on the Gandy Bridge closed for several hours.

FHP has confirmed that the crash involved one of their Troopers. Multiple people were transported to the hospital but no details have been released the severity of their injuries.

All eastbound lanes remain open at this time. The westbound lanes may remain closed for several hours during the investigation.

Drivers will need to use the Howard Frankland or Courtney Campbell bridges if wishing to enter Pinellas County
