A 35 year-old bicyclist was transported to the trauma center at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg following a crash in Pinellas Park.
The crash occurred shortly after 6 p.m. on Friday, May 28, 2021 in the southbound lanes of 66th Street N at 118th Avenue.

The vehicle involved in the crash remained at the scene.

The bicyclist, identified as 35 year-old Lance Riley, died at the hospital later the same day.
Riley leaves behind his wife Kelly and four children ages 11, 9, 8 and 2.
All through lanes southbound and eastbound at the intersection were closed for several hours during the investigation.
