Construction worker struck and killed in crash at 118th Avenue near 43rd Street

Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol are en route to investigate a critical injury accident. The crash occurred at approximately 10:11 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2023.

The injured pedestrian, who was critically injured, was transported to a local hospital where he later died.

Expect prolonged lane closures during the investigation. The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office and the Pinellas Park Police Department are assisting with traffic control.
