DUI Manslaughter Charges in Kenneth City Pedestrian Death

At approximately 7:23 PM on Friday, February 13, 2015, reports of a traffic crash involving a pedestrian were reported in the area of 58th Street and 54th Avenue N in Kenneth City.
Units from Lealman Special Fire District, Pinellas Park Fire Department, Sunstar Paramedics, Kenneth City Police along with the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene. First arriving units on-scene found the pedestrian, 65 year-old Mark R. Ehrhardt of Kenneth City, down and injured in the roadway. Â He was transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg where he died from his injuries..
According to information from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO), 40 year-old Troy Donnelly, the driver of a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling southbound on 58th Street near 54th Avenue North in Kenneth City when he struck a pedestrian crossing east to west on 58th street.  Ehrhardt was not in a cross walk at the time.
According to PCSO, Donnelly showed signs of impairment and was arrested and has been charged with one count of DUI manslaughter. He was transported to the Pinellas County Jail without further incident.  Donnelly is listed as a transient with no known address
