Fatal crash involving a pedestrian on Seminole Boulevard

Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) are currently on-scene of a crash that killed pedestrian.

The crash occurred shortly after 10 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 in the southbound lanes of Seminole near 124nd Avenue N. The pedestrian died at the scene.

The vehicle, operated by a 25 year-old Clearwater woman, was traveling southbound on Seminole Boulevard, south of 124th Avenue North.  The pedestrian, a 33 year-old New Port Richey man, was walking westbound, entered the southbound lanes, and into the path of the vehicle. 

As a result, the front right of the vehicle collided with the pedestrian who suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash. 

All southbound lanes of Seminole Boulevard were closed for several hours during the investigation.


It has been almost 13 years since the inception of IONTB.
