FHP Investigating Crash that Killed a Woman in Unincorporated Largo

FHP continues to investigate a crash that killed a 71 year-old Marilyn Martin of Largo.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Walsingham Road at 113th Street N at approximately 12:39 p.m. on Friday, December 7, 2018.

According to investigators, Martin was traveling eastbound on Walsingham Road in a 2003 Ford Taurus.

Joshua Rodgers, age 19 of Clearwater, was traveling southbound on 113th Street North in the inside lane in a 2013 Hyundai Genesis.

Keith Reynolds, age 32 of St. Petersburg, was stopped in northbound traffic in the left turn lane of 113th Street North in a Mack truck.

Troopers say that Martin’s Taurus entered the intersection under a red traffic signal and entered into the path of the Genesis.

The front of the Genesis collided with the driver’s side of the Taurus.

After the initial impact, the Taurus collided with the Mack truck.

Martin suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.

Neither of the other drivers were injured in the crash.

Troopers say no charges are pending and alcohol did not play a role in the crash.
