Driver arrested in rollover crash off Roosevelt Blvd, 3 seriously injured

Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) continue to investigate following a serious injury rollover crash on Roosevelt Boulevard.

The crash occurred at approximately 10:58 a.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2019.

Troopers say that 39 year-old Ryan Livingston of New Smyrna Beach was traveling northeast on 28th Street North in the outside lane approaching Roosevelt Blvd in a 2011 Chevy Cruze.

Sharon Loar, age 65 of Tampa was traveling northwest on Roosevelt Blvd in the center lane approaching Lake Carillon Drive in a 2015 Jeep Wrangler.

Neresh Emike, age 37 of St. Petersburg was traveling northwest on Roosevelt Blvd in the outside lane approaching Lake Carillon Drive in a 2011 Toyota Corolla.

Livingston reportedly entered the intersection under a red traffic signal with no attempt to stop or slow. The front of his Chevy collided with the front left of the Wrangler.

The rear of the Chevy then collided with the left side of the Toyota in the outside lane.

The Wranger continued into the intersection opening of Lake Carillon Drive with its driver’s side now leading and overturned onto its driver’s side coming to rest in the center median safety zone of Lake Carillon Drive.

All three drivers were transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg with serious injuries.

Troopers say Livingston was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.

On December 20, 2019, FHP Troopers arrested Ryan Livingston for DUI-Drugs Serious Injury and Reckless Driving Serious Injury. He reportedly tested positive for amphetamines in his blood stream.

He was booked into the Pinellas County Jail.
