Largo motorcycle crash adds to the surging numbers in Florida
At 8:45pm this evening, units from Largo Fire Rescue were dispatched to a Traffic Crash involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Belcher and Ulmerton Roads. Largo Police and Fire Departments were assisted by Sunstar and the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.
The motorcyclist was rapidly transported to a local trauma center via Sunstar. He was conscious and moving while being immobilized by rescue personnel on-scene.
Northbound Belcher Road just to the south of the intersection was closed during the investigation of the crash.
Largo Police will continue investigating the cause of the crash.
