Largo Police investigate death of pedestrian in crash along East Bay Drive

Members of the Largo Police Department and Largo Fire Rescue responded to reports of a traffic crash at approximately 10:00 p.m. on Friday, November 12, 2021.

The call for service was in reference to a vehicle versus pedestrian crash in the 3200 block of East Bay Drive.

According to investigators, the pedestrian, who died at the scene, entered the curb lane of westbound East Bay Dr and was struck by an oncoming pickup truck.

The Largo Police Department’s Traffic Homicide unit responded and is conducting the investigation.

It has been almost 13 years since the inception of IONTB.
