Lutz Man Died After His Motorcycle Collided with Guardrail Along I-275 in Pinellas

Michael Coniglio, age 38 of Lutz, was killed in a motorcycle crash at approximately 7:54 p.m. on Sunday, July 15, 2018.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol,  Coniglio was traveling in the northbound inside lane of I-275 approaching 22nd Avenue North when,
for unknown reasons, he lost control of his 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Coniglio traveled to the shoulder and collided with a guardrail. He was transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg Hospital where he died from his injuries.

Troopers say Conigluo was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. A few witnesses stated that he was wearing a helmet.
