Clearwater Police continue to investigate a crash that critically injured a moped operator.
The crash occurred in the 1400 block of Hillcrest Avenue at approximately 6:22 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2020 between the moped and a vehicle.
The male operator of the moped was transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg with life-threatening injuries.
Hillcrest Avenue remains shut down in the area of the crash during the investigation.
