Everyone Safe After Fire on Casino Shuttle Boat off Coast of Port Richey
Pasco deputies assisted Fire Rescue and the Coast Guard in the rescue of multiple people who were reportedly in the Gulf water.
The Pasco Sheriff’s office responded to assist Port Richey Police with a vessel fire in the Port Richey canal. The casino shuttle caught on fire with about 50 people on board.
All passengers were able to make it to shore where EMS treated them.

Pasco County Sheriff’s Office patrol, Marine and the Air Unit responded to assist.
FWC responded as well as the Coast Guard.
This is due to a fire on the Sun Cruz casino shuttle boat.
The call for service was received at 4:17 pm.
The location is near Harbor Point near Bay Blvd.
