Motorcycle Leaves Road, Crashes Into Parked Truck and Police SUV; Rider Dies

A 29-year-old New Port Richey woman died following a crash on April 18, 2026, at approximately 8:13 PM on Sequoia Drive.

According to investigators, the woman was operating a Honda motorcycle northbound on Sequoia Drive when, just north of Cherrytree Lane, she lost control for unknown reasons. The motorcycle left the roadway and entered a private driveway.

The motorcycle collided with a parked Ford F-150 that was unoccupied. The force of the impact pushed the pickup truck into a second parked vehicle, identified as a New Port Richey Police Ford Explorer, which was also unoccupied at the time.

The motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital, where she later died from injuries sustained in the crash.

No other injuries were reported. The crash remains under investigation.
