Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to a motorcycle crash with serious injuries on the Sand Key bridge.
The crash occurred at approximately 12:41 a.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2021.

The motorcyclist was flown to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg for treatment.
As of Thursday morning, police say that the 35 year-old male motorcyclist remains in critical but stable condition at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.

He was southbound on the bridge when the crash occurred and no other vehicles were involved.
Investigators say that speed and impairment are possible factors in the crash.
The road has reopened.
