Motorcyclist critically injured in hit and run crash in St. Petersburg, police searching for vehicle

St. Petersburg Police are currently investigating after a hit and run crash critically injured a motorcyclist.

At approximately 11 a.m. on September 17, 2022, a 21 year old man was on his motorcycle traveling east in the 5100 block of Central Avenue, when a car swerved into   the motorcyclist. 

This caused the motorcycle to go into oncoming westbound traffic and collide head-on with another vehicle. The suspect vehicle didn’t stop and left the scene. The victim suffered life-threatening injuries and is in critical condition at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.

Detectives are trying to locate a white Lincoln sedan in this photo, that was in the area and may have information about the crash.
