Motorcyclist Killed in Crash at County Line Road and Maximilian Drive

A 24-year-old Tampa man has died following a two-vehicle crash Tuesday night at the intersection of County Line Road and Maximilian Drive in Wesley Chapel.

According to investigators, the crash occurred on April 21, 2026, at approximately 9:20 PM.

The motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on County Line Road at a high rate of speed when a Hyundai van, driven by a 41-year-old Land O’ Lakes man, was heading northbound on Maximilian Drive. As the van attempted to make a left turn at the intersection, it entered the path of the motorcycle and was struck.

Both drivers sustained injuries and were transported to area hospitals. The motorcyclist later died from his injuries. The driver of the van’s condition has not been released.

The crash remains under investigation.
