Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Clearwater Crash

Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to a motorcycle crash with serious injuries in the 2900 block of State Road 590.

The crash occurred just after 9 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2019.

The male motorcyclist was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg as a trauma alert.

The section of 590 that is closed for the crash investigation is in the vicinity of Johnny’s Italian Restaurant. Avoid the area near that strip center.

Motorists should use Sunset Point Road or Drew Street to travel between U.S. 19 and McMullen Booth Road in that area.
