Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Clearwater Crash
Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue are on scene of a vehicle versus motorcycle crash with serious injuries at the intersection of Belcher Road and Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard.
The crash occurred just before 4 this afternoon. The male motorcyclist is being flown via Bayflite to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg. His injuries are described as possibly life threatening.
All westbound lanes and all southbound lanes are closed at this time at and near the intersection.
Eastbound and northbound lanes are slow, but open.
Motorists should avoid the area for the near future.
The female driver of the other vehicle, an SUV, was not injured.
