Officers from the Clearwater Police Department (CPD) are on-scene of a traffic crash with serious injuries. The crash occurred at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 4, 2022 on Gulf to Bay Boulevard at Comet Avenue.
An adult male motorcyclist was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg as a trauma alert with possible life-threatening injuries.
The eastbound lanes of Gulf to Bay were being diverted through the parking lot of Clearwater High School. The median lane westbound was also shut down as the investigation was conducted.
The roadway reopened at about 3:35 p.m. and CPD reports the motorcyclist remains in critical condition.
