Officers from the Largo Police Department are investigating a fatality crash involving a pedestrian on Seminole Boulevard.
On Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at 10:41 p.m., the Largo Police Department Traffic Homicide Unit responded to the area of 2024 Seminole Blvd in reference to a traffic crash
involving a pedestrian.
A southbound Honda struck a pedestrian, who was crossing the roadway, not at a posted crosswalk. The driver of the Honda was cleared by medical staff on the scene. Alcohol was not a factor with the driver of the Honda. The pedestrian was then struck by another vehicle as he lay in the roadway.
The vehicle was a dark colored sedan. The dark colored sedan then left the scene of the crash after the secondary impact with the
pedestrian.
The pedestrian was transported to a Morton Plant Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
