Pinellas Crash Claims the Life of a 24 Year-Old Motorcyclist Thursday Evening

The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is currently investigating a crash that claimed the life of a 24 year-old man from Holiday, Florida.

The crash occurred at approximately 11:31 p.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at the intersection of East Lake Road and Trinity Blvd.

According to FHP, Tyler Noble was traveling northbound on East Lake Road approaching Trinity Boulevard while operating a 2006 Kawasaki ZX600 at a high rate of speed.

A 17 year-old woman from Trinity, Florida, was traveling southbound in the left turn lane on East Lake Road approaching Trinity Boulevard in a 2003 Honda CR-V.

Troopers say that the driver of the Honda turned into the path of the motorcycle which collided with the rear passenger side of the car.

Noble died at the scene of the crash.  The driver of Honda was not injured.

FHP says Noble was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and that it is unknown if alcohol played a role in the crash.  The investigation continues and charges are listed as pending.
