Pinellas Deputies investigating stabbing at a home in Unincorporated Largo

Deputies from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a person stabbed inside a home in the 13900 block of Pinecrest Drive. The incident occurred shortly before 5 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2020.

The assailant already left the scene prior to the arrival of deputies. Paramedics from Pinellas Suncoast Fire & Rescue District arrived on scene and treated the victim who was suffering from multiple stab wounds.

The victim was transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg for their injuries.

Deputies searched the surrounding area using a K-9 and the agency helicopter . It is unknown if the assailant is in custody at this time.

The stabbing does not appear to be a random event.
