Pinellas Detectives Seek To Identify Man That Robbed Convenience Stores in the Largo and St. Petersburg Area

Detectives from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, assigned to the Robbery & Homicide Unit, seek the public’s assistance in locating a suspect that robbed a 7-Eleven convenience store in unincorporated Largo and the Haines Corner Deli located at 5705 Haines Road in Unincorporated St. Petersburg.

According to detectives, the suspect entered the 7-Eleven convenience store located at 11505 Walsingham Road in Largo, at about 1:20 a.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2017.

Once inside the convenience store, the suspect walked up to the store clerk and pointed a handgun at her demanding money. The suspect was given cash.

The suspect fled from the convenience store eastbound on foot.

Detectives say, the same suspect entered a second convenience store, the Haines Corner Deli located at 5705 Haines Road in Unincorporated St. Petersburg at about 10:12 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2017. Once inside the convenience store, the suspect walked up to the store clerk and pointed a handgun at her demanding money. The suspect was given cash.

The suspect fled from the convenience store in an unknown direction on foot.

Witnesses described the suspect as a black male, early 20’s, thin build, 5′ 8″ tall, wearing a black hoodie, black pants, black gloves, black Nike shoes, and a black scarf around his face.

Detectives believe the same suspect robbed the 7-Eleven convenience store at 403 Clearwater-Largo Road in Largo, earlier the same morning. The Largo Police Department is investigating the armed robbery at this location.
