Pinellas Park Police searching for subjects involved in hit and run injury crash

Pinellas Park Police are currently investigating a hit and run crash with injuries that occurred on Friday, February 28, 2020 at approximately 6:59 p.m.

According to police, a 2001 Mazda Protege was disabled in the center southbound lane in the 9500 block of US Hwy 19.

A 2006 Toyota Highlander that was travelling southbound in the center lane failed to see the disabled vehicle and crashed into the rear of it.

The disabled vehicle was occupied by three juveniles, ages 1, 4, 12 and their 25 year-old mother. The victims were all transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Toyota’s driver and passenger both got out of the vehicle and fled from the scene on foot. They have not been identified at this time.
