Pursuit ends with two in custody after subjects open fire on cars in St. Petersburg

Officers from the St. Petersburg arrested two men after officers saw them open fire on vehicles near Fairfield Ave. S and 44th St. S. The pair fled in a car.

Officers pursued the vehicle and two suspects were taken into custody near the intersection of Dartmouth Ave. N and 58th St. N.

Both suspects, who are brothers, were identified as 18 year-old Montarious Walker and 21 year-old Robert Walker. Both have been charged with Attempted Homicide.

In addition, Robert Walker had an outstanding warrant for Auto Theft out of Hillsborough County. He was also charged with Violation of Probation for a previous Armed Robbery charge which was also out of St. Petersburg.

Other charges are pending.

No one was injured.

An investigation into the shooting continues.
