Seminole man arrested for possession of horrific videos of sex acts on young children including infants

Detectives from Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40 year-old Casey Hannah of Seminole, Florida for possession of child pornography.

According to arrest documentation, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office began their investigation after receiving a tip from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). NCMEC was notified by Microsoft that a user was storing thousands of images and videos of child pornography on their servers. A warrant was obtained for access to Hannah’s Microsoft OneDrive account.

Detectives were able to locate the files with some over 20 years old. The account was linked to Hannah’s email address and IP address at this home located in the 7800 block of 115th Street N whom he shared with a roommate.

In an interview with detectives on June 10, 2020, Hannah admitted to possessing child pornography but denied having any sexual contact with children.

Detectives arrested Hannah at 11:35 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 and charged him with 20 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.

Some of the recovered files describe videos of horrific acts that inflicted significant pain to young children and infants that appear as young as 6 months old.

Hannah was transported to the Pinellas County Jail without further incident. His bail was set at $2 million.

Hannah is currently employed by the City of Temple Terrace as a Fire Inspector since 2017 and was previously employed at Sunstar Paramedics in Largo, Florida and as a firefighter for Suncoast Fire Rescue in Indian Rocks, Florida.

Hannah currently holds an active license as a paramedic in the State of Florida through December 2020.
