Serious Injury Crash on US-19 North of Nebraska Avenue

At about 6 PM, September 3, 2015, units from Palm Harbor Fire Rescue, Safety Harbor Fire Department, Sunstar Paramedics, Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, Florida Highway Patrol, and Aeromed all assisted on-scene of a vehicle crash. The crash occurred in the southbound lanes of US-19 just to the north of Nebraska Avenue in Palm Harbor.
Multiple patients were being evaluated with at least one person transported via Aeromed to a local trauma center. Crews worked to extricate the injured occupant of the vehicle while others worked to contain fuel leaks from involved vehicles.
Florida Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation into the crash and all roads were reopened as of 8:45PM.
