Shooting at St. Petersburg Gas Station Leaves Two Dead and One Injured

St. Petersburg Police continue to investigate a shooting that occurred at approximately 9:40 p.m. on 34th Street South at 18th Avenue South.

When officers arrived there was a crowd of approximately 100 people gathered in the parking lot on the corner.

They discovered three adult men shot.

Two of the men, 42 year-old Roger Lee Ford,Jr. and 39 year-old Tywan Jeremiah Armstrong were pronounced deceased at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.

The third victim, 44 year-old Carlos Demetrius Young, has non life-threatening injuries.

Police say the shooter is still at large.

34th St. South was closed at 18th Avenue South for several hours due to the investigation.
