Officers from the St. Petersburg Police Department currently are investigating a shooting in St. Petersburg. The incident occurred shortly after 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021.
The original incident took place near Coquina Key Park in the 3700 block of Manatee Dr. SE. When officers arrived, they learned that both the victim and suspect(s) left the scene in vehicles.

A short time later, the victim contacted police from another location in the area of 9th Avenue and 9th Street N.
The male victim suffered multiple wounds described as non-life threatening.
