Silver Alert Issued for Pinellas Park Man

The Silver Alert issued by Pinellas Park Police for 89 year old William Ray Hood has been canceled.

Mr. Hood has been located and returned to his home safely.

Police say that Mr. Hood went missing from his home located in the 6100 block of 62nd Avenue North on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 12:34pm.

Mr. Hood suffers fom Alzheimer’s and Sundown Syndrome.

He is believed to be traveling in his 2011 four door silver Chrysler 200 bearing Florida Handicapped tag #ZH65J.

The vehicle also has an artificial rose on the top of the vehicle antenna, and the front license plate on the vehicle says “National Horseshoe.”

Mr Hood is described as a White male, Height: 6’02”, Weight: approx 225lbs, Hair Color: Gray, Eye Color: Blue. Clothing Description: tan striped polo style shirt, with jean shorts, and black shoes (with a raised right shoe sole).
