Suspicious fire guts Bradenton mobile home and damages three others


A fire that completely destroyed one mobile and damaged three others in Bradenton has been termed suspicious.

Cedar Hammock Fire Rescue responded to a reported structure fire at 3715 14th Street W. at approximately 1:17 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.

Responding units included 4 engines, 1 ladder truck, 1 Battalion Chief, 1 Medic Unit, and Raptor, along with assistance from the State Fire Marshals Office, Manatee County Sherriff’s Office, and Florida Highway Patrol.

The first on-scene fire crews arrived within 4 minutes and encountered a fully involved residential fire with heavy fire and smoke. The fire crews immediately started an aggressive fire attack and search. The fire was under control within thirty minutes.

There were no injuries reported to any civilians or firefighters. Damage is estimated at $150,000.


It has been almost 13 years since the inception of IONTB.
