Tampa Police Investigating Crash That Killed a Pedestrian on Hillsborough Avenue

Investigators from Tampa Police Department are currently on-scene of a traffic fatality involving a vehicle versus pedestrian in the 3900 block of West Hillsborough Avenue.
Drivers should avoid this area and seek alternate routes. No traffic will be permitted eastbound on Hillsborough from Lois to Dale Mabry. Traffic will be shut down for approximately 3-4 hours so officers and detectives can complete their investigation.
