An investigation is underway involving a crash in the northbound lanes of US-19 at Klosterman Road. The crash occurred at approximately 5 a.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2023.
A 17-year-old female from Pompano Beach was crossing US-19 near Klosterman Rd. and was struck by a Toyota Pickup truck traveling northbound. The truck then left the scene.

The female was pronounced dead at the scene, and police are currently attempting to contact her next of kin.
Investigators are looking for a 2014-2017 Silver Toyota Tundra pick-up truck, last seen traveling Northbound on US-19, with front-end damage.
