At approximately 6:45 PM this evening, a rollover crash was reported on Starkey Road at 106th Avenue.
First responders from the City of Seminole Fire Rescue and Sunstar Paramedics were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival on-scene they located two occupants still in the Hummer that came to rest on its side.
The driver of the Jeep, the second car involved, was transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg via Sunstar Paramedics as crews continued to cut the roof from the Hummer.
After about 30 minutes, rescuers were able to safely remove both occupants of the Hummer and package them for transport to Bayfront Health for further medical care.
All three of the injured people appeared stable and Florida Highway Patrol was on-scene to conduct an investigation into the crash. Deputies from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office assisted with traffic control. All southbound lanes of Starkey Road were closed and northbound lanes were restricted down to one.
