Troopers investigate death of pedestrian in Palm Harbor crash on US-19

Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol are currently investigating a fatality crash involving a pedestrian. The crash occurred at approximately 3:35 a.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2022.

According to troopers, a sedan, operated by a 73 year-old Palm Harbor woman, was traveling northbound on US-19 in the inside lane approaching Bilgore Grove Boulevard.

A 36 year-old Hudson woman was walking across the travel lanes of US-19 from the median. The pedestrian entered the path of and was struck by the vehicle. The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
