Two Killed in Crash on US-19 Near Northside Drive in Pinellas

The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is currently investigating a crash that claimed the lives of two people Friday afternoon.

The crash occurred on Friday, December 1, 2017 at approximately 3:30 p.m.

According to FHP, a 2004 Jaguar was traveling northbound on US-19 and attempted to turn left into the driveway into the Doral Village community located at 29250 US-19.

A 2007 Ford United Taxi cab, driven 63 year-old Charles Prugh of Clearwater, was traveling southbound on US-19 when the above mentioned vehicle entered into its path.

The Jaguar was stuck on passenger side, killing the passenger, 79 year-old Patricia Paris. The driver, 78 year-old Henry Paris, later died at Mease Countryside.

Prugh was transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg with serious injuries.
