Vehicle crash on Ulmerton Road at the entrance to Largo Mall

At about 11:40 am today, units from Largo Fire Rescue were dispatched to Ulmerton Road just to the east of Seminole Blvd for a traffic crash.

All eastbound lanes of traffic were shut down due to the crash. Firefighters utilized extrication equipment to assist in removing one of the injured occupants from the vehicle.

The injuries did not appear life threatening and at least one patient was transported via Sunstar to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Largo Police Department was on-scene and will conduct an investigation into the crash.
