TAMPA – The westbound Interstate 4 ramp to northbound Interstate 275 will close overnight from 10 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, to 1 a.m. Wednesday, February 18, weather permitting.
During the closure, motorists traveling west on I-4 who need to access northbound I-275 must continue west and take Exit 45A (Downtown East/West). Drivers should keep left at the fork toward Downtown East, continue south on Jefferson Street, turn left onto Harrison Street, turn left onto Orange Avenue, and then re-enter the interstate using the northbound I-275 entrance ramp.
The overnight closure is required for maintenance activities associated with the Downtown Tampa Interchange (I-275/I-4) Safety and Operational Improvements project.
Drivers are advised to use caution in the area and remain alert for construction workers and pedestrians.
