At approximately 9:05 PM on Saturday, July 4, 2015, units were dispatached to a home in Seminole, Florida following reports of a vehicle crash involving the structure. The home is located in the Windtree Oaks Subdivision at 12274 Windtree Boulevard.

According to a press release from Cristen Smith of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, deputies stated that witnesses observed 46-year-old Cheri Tenney driving her 2005 GMC Envoy into the garage of the home about 8 PM.  While entering the garage, Tenney hit a portion of the garage before attempting to back out.

Just prior to the impact with the home, Tenney returned to her vehicle outside and began to rev the engine, before placing the vehicle in drive. Tenney then placed the vehicle in reverse and backed the vehicle through the home and parked it in the front yard.
