One Man Shot in Highpoint After Two Men Play with Gun

Posted – December 12, 2014

Two men playing with a gun leads to one being shot in the chest in the Highpoint area.   On December 11, 2014 at 11:58 PM Deputies from the Pinellas County responded to a shooting at 15116 Topaz Lane in Unincorporated Largo.

23 year-old Tony Roe, 19 year-old Dylan Harvey and 22 year-old Brianna Harris were inside the residence at the time of the shooting. Tony and Dylan were playing with a loaded revolver by rolling the chamber then taking turns pointing the gun at each other. At one point, Harvey pointed the gun at Roe and the gun discharged.

The 911 call was initiated by Roe after being shot in the chest and he was transported to Bayfront Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.  Both Roe and Harvey were reported to have been outside when deputies arrived with the firearm still in the residence.

At this time the investigation is on-going and no arrests have been made.  Harvey is listed as being a transient and other two involved live at the location of the shooting.

The investigation continues.
