Crews from Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to reports of a body in the water at approximately 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2019.
The death investigation occurred in Stevenson Creek behind a home in the 1500 block of Stevensons Drive.
The body was located in the creek by a person on a kayak.Â
Investigators say the body found Saturday is that of a 56-year-old David Moll of Clearwater.
Foul play is not suspected.
The cause of death is pending an autopsy by the medical examiner’s office. Next of kin has not been notified at this time.
