Largo Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash This Morning in Clearwater

Clearwater Police continue to investigate a fatal crash involving a motorcycle this morning.

The crash occurred at 5:45 a.m in the southbound access lanes of US-19 at Seville Boulevard.

The motorcyclist who died was identified as 30 year-old Bradley Carpenter of Largo.

He was operating a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on the access road of U.S. 19 when he drove into the rear of a 2006 Toyota Scion.

The Scion was operated by a 41 year-old Clearwater woman who was not injured.

Investigators believe speed was a factor in the crash.

The motorcyclist died at the scene.
