Largo Police Looking for Armed Burglary Suspect

Largo detectives are attempting to identify and arrest a burglary suspect who confronted homeowners while wielding a large knife.

The incident occurred on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at approximately 3:40 a.m.

The unidentified white male entered a townhouse at 7360 Ulmerton Rd in Largo.

The suspect was reportedly armed with a large black knife. The suspect woke the victims in their bedrooms. When the victims confronted the suspect, he reportedly told them, “I’m the cops,” and fled their home on foot. The suspect was captured on nearby security video.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6’02, 250 pounds, with
dark hair, a beard, and wearing cowboy boots.
